🦁 YEAR 12 TARONGA ZOO EXCURSION 🦍 Our Year 12 Business Studies class visited Sydney Taronga Zoo to participate in a marketing workshop aligned with their coursework. ⭐ VISIT FROM THE DEFENCE FORCE CAREERS TEAM ⭐ On day one of term two, students from Years 10, 11 and 12 had the opportunity to attend a presentation by the Defence Force Careers team. They heard about the wide range of career paths available in the Air Force, Army, Navy. In over 200 possible roles, the ADF provides excellent opportunities for growth and career development, and a range of study scholarships. Our students were all enthusiastic about the possibilities. After the formal presentation, many stayed back to further discuss opportunities and ask further questions. Thank you to the Defence Force Careers team and our Careers and Community Partnership Officer for this opportunity for our students. 🏃 PDSSSC CROSS COUNTRY 🥇 Congratulations to the following students who represented Penola Catholic College at the PDSSSC Cross Country event: Year 7: Jacinta B, Madison E, Chloe F, Lincoln M, Khloe S, Devrim T, and Kade W Year 8: Declan G and William J Year 9: William B, Lilly B, Dylan C, and Kai C Year 10: Jack B and Mitchell G They performed exceptionally well, with Year 9 student Kai C claiming 1st place in the 15 boys category, Year 7's Lincoln M securing 6th place in the 12 boys category, and Year 10's Mitchell G achieving 6th place in the 16 boys category.
